But, when calamities happen in your own state, that's when we realize the gravity of the situation. We at Yuva Dhwaja took up an initiative of helping our brothers and sisters of Uttara Karnataka affected by floods. We have contributed bed sheets, toothpastes, brushes, toiletries, sanitary pads, rain coats amongst others at a timely hour. As a duty, knowledge attained by following the ideologies of eminent personalities should be passed onto younger generation. We believe books are great way to do that and books on Swami Vivekananda were handed to the young aspiring minds of Pragathi Trust.

When the entire world celebrated love on Feb 14th this year, we Indians faced the worst ever hatred from our neighbour. The brutal killing of our CRPF Jawans. Yuva Dhwaja strongly condemns this attack and stand with the forces and government for any plan of action. We, like all Indians, wanted to do our bit for the families of the martyred soldiers. By donating this money we want to express to the families that the sacrifice will not go in vain. We too have lost our heroes. We wish and hope that our soldiers come back home hoisting the tri-colour flag and not wrapped in the tri colour. It is a humble request for our fellow Indians to come forward and contribute to the families of our brave warriors.
